Pure Desi Ghee
Published October 2026
Pure desi ghee should mean clarified butter from milk with no vegetable oil blended in. Packaging words like shudh, original, or asli are marketing unless the ingredient list proves milk fat only.

Verify on the label
- Ingredients: milk fat, butter, or cream only
- Avoid 'vegetable ghee', dalda, or palm olein blends if you want dairy ghee
- Nutrition panel shows nearly 100% fat per serving
- Regulatory marks (FSSAI in India, local standards elsewhere)
